Shift
February 26, 2010So, apart from being the Queen of Delaying Tactics, I am also becoming the Queen of Flakiness.
To my (pleasant) surprise, he broke the ice that has been tormenting me as if it were Rukia-chan’s Zanpakutou. Okay, well not “tormenting,” I just remembered it was some of my selves doing that :p But, anyway, I’ve kind of built a fortress around me while muttering my regrets, recalling certain things, and listening to Why Can’t I. So…
Somehow, and I don’t know exactly in what manner, I have shifted from being agitated and achey to being mildly sedated and… well still achey, but I feel more grown up all of a sudden (especially since I just put up my new superlight Japanese corkboard by myself and I used a ribbon with silver lines to hang it) and oddly inspired (not in a SPARKLY manner, but I probably mean I am more eager to move forward) and somewhat glad and somewhat relieved. And yes, all those at the same time.
By the way I am so full right now because I just had some cheese, and coffee, and then I ate my words for dessert (back in the list). I feel somewhat lighter though that I was able to explain why, even if it was just a fraction of the whole reason and I am not sure if anything I said made sense to him. Anyway I guess things are much clearer now, even if it’s never gonna be the same as before, ever, and somehow it’s nice to find happiness in these little moments, and to be able to give happiness too. Actually I think that’s the nice part of it, that I am able to GIVE it too.
Lovely Evening (^^,)
December 31, 2009Tonight was cheese night and great conversation night
I went to my sister’s place to have bonding time with Cecile; Cecile brought cheese for us. She brought pasteurized goat cheese, cheese with pepper, and aged edam - they were all so good (^^,) We had sparkling grape with it, after which my sister and I had Blue Mountain coffee. Our evening started around 6 PM, and we were just chit chatting the whole time, until we realized it was almost 10, and we didn’t notice the time at all. However, we went back to talking and then had some of the leek and onion soup and roast chicken that my sister cooked earlier today for her best friend Jennee. I also had greens (with wansoy) mixed with olive oil and balsamic. Yum.
So, next thing we realized it was 1 AM
So we called it a night (^^,) It was fun and relaxing and the stories were all inspiring and beautiful.
Tonight, I intend to sleep long. I need to take care of my health. I’m thinking that the stuff I’m experiencing now are all due to late nights, holiday stress, shift in working style (this was effortless; i just noticed that lately I am able to work for a long time without any pauses at all), plus a recent resolution that was, and still is, quite hard for me, and I’m still trying to cope with it. However, the stress should be addressed and I think sleeping long hours should help, plus I have made a minor change in my eating habits, and no it’s not a diet because they never work for me. It’s just a minor change on certain habits and manners. So, I should sleep soon and hope for the best. I do hope that all efforts from this year come into fruition in the coming year.
Have a happy new year, everyone - hugs to everyone I care for, especially you whom I do not mean to hurt.

Ohayou!
September 11, 2009Slept over last night at my sister’s place after the entire family had dinner at San Jacinto and bought cupcakes from Mom & Tina’s
I slept over because she had to work late and so she needed to stay awake, which means I have to be the other person who’s also awake
So, I watched Coraline (finally) and liked it, as I ate a perfectly fudgy chocolate banana swirl cupcake with coffee (yum)
Then, this morning, she dropped me off again around 7 here at home before she drove off to work. Now I am having breakfast of multigrain bread with Belcube (wait, that part’s finished), cranberry orange cupcake, and coffee
Simple joys
And it’s Friday yay!

One of Those Good Mornings :)
April 28, 2009 Cecille (the short story writer) and I have been going to Cynch’s place a number of times to swim and have big breakfasts
Recently, we went swimming again then we had fried rice, something-omelet (which Cecille brought), and fried fish fillet. Cynch made yummy iced tea and brewed her super good Arabica coffee (waaaahhh craving again!). We had the super sweet Guimaras mangoes for dessert. In our previous big breakfasts,… (Please click to continue reading this post.)

I’ve not been in Manila for long but I must say it’s an amazing place. Anyway, I’m just commenting here because I’m researching blogs about filipino life and found your site on yahoo. If you have any ideas on things to try while here in manila then I’d love you to share them with me.
